The online application process for the National Festivals and Participative Events Programme 2013  will close at midnight on Friday 22nd June 2012.

Applications to this programme are now invited through the online application process at www.failteireland.ie /festivals.

2013 is the year of The Gathering Ireland.  It is about the people of Ireland celebrating and reconnecting with our global community and inviting those with a connection to our country to come and visit. 

Applicants are encouraged to embrace The Gathering as part of their 2013 festival/event programme. 
As part of the National festivals & Participative Events programme 2013, there is limited additional funding available to assist successful applicants who tailor their programme, or specific elements of their programme, around the themes of The Gathering Ireland 2013. 

The application form provides an opportunity to demonstrate how an event can showcase all that is great about Ireland and how it can deliver a unique experience for visitors in 2013. 
Please note that to be considered for Gathering related funding, applicants must firstly fulfil the requirements for the National Festivals and Participative Events Programme.
