AOIFE Campus Officer

AOIFE wishes to recruit , train and deploy a student of the 12 campuses of Ireland that have fulltime and partime students involved in the field of Festivals/ Event / Cultural Management as part of Tourism , business or indeed any degree or cert. programme.

In essence the role of the AOIFE Campus Officer is to :

a) Be a contact & reference point for third level students of Events/ Fetival/ Cultural Management and the Association

b) Inform Students of relevant training programmes and seminars taking place in their region

c) Assist Students in finding suitable work placements, projects, internships and activities of interest with AOIFE members.

d) Assist in Organising recruits and applicants for the North American Students Placement Programme

c) Assist Students in finding suitable work placements, projects, internships and activities of interest with the IFEA Europe members.

e) Assiting in Recruiting Candidates and Projects for suitable Competitions

f) Assist in providing information to the students of their campus from the sector.

g) Recruit Students to attend the Annual conference in Ballinasoe - Nov.

h) Crew the Annual Conference and Some (where applicable) the EU conferences

i) Organise an AOIFE Executive Speaker to Address all cohorts of students twice in their course lifetime .

In return for the succeful development of role the Student ( typically a first or second year but with an ability to be on campus or nearby, for Autumn/ Winter months ) will receive a modest monthly stipend plus :

Training and Induction Day and Free Attendence To the Fourth Annual Community Festivals Networking DAY ( Accomodation & Transportation Costs provided) March 27th , Ballinasloe.
