Requirements: Degree Educated individual with some practical experience ( campaigns and events) behind them, who would work as a Marketing & Events Co-ordinator for Brand Ballinasloe.

Key Skills; PC Literate, Good Copy Writing, Excellent Presentation Skills, Tourism / Culture knowledge preferably. Ability to generate revenue , Self Starter - will to manage a diverse team.

Summary Potential Nature of Duties
- Key Hallmark Event Co - ordination & Development
- Convention/ Tournament Hosting Bids
- Sponsorship Sales & Fullfillment
- Tourism and Marketing Promotions
- On Line and Off Line Promotional and Marketing Activity ( Updating Information)
- Annual Calendar of Events
- Website Marketing & Development
- National/ Regional Media advertising Campaigns
- Town Hall / Heritage Location / Tourist Trail
- Co - ordinator to the Brand Ballinasloe Team

Supporting & Enhancing All External PR for Ballinasloe Representation on regional Tourism Associations i.e. East Galway Tourism, Midlands Tourism, Failte West.
Co-ordination and distribution of uniformed collateral associated with Brand Ballinasloe campaign, both locally to businesses in the area, nationally in appropriate Tourist offices, Conference and Exhibition Agents

Contract For Services managed / supervised by Brand Ballinasloe with specific delivery inputs on work targets and facilitation by Fair and Festival, Town Council, Chamber of Commerce, Brand Ballinasloe, BACD.

No Regular Group Evening Meetings to be encouraged.

Contract Fee to be negotiated for approx 30 hrs per week
